Q: How do software upgrades work? Are they free?
A: Software upgrades are released in two different ways: Point upgrades come out between major releases and are included with the purchase of the major release. For example, currently we are on version 8 of our software. The current point upgrade is 8.0.4 and all version 8 users have free access to this upgrade. When version 9 is released, it will be a major software release and will require payment to upgrade.
