CardScan Software Developers Kit (SDK) System Requirements
To run an application that was customized using the SDK, you will need:
- An Intel-compatible PC with a Pentium processor
- Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
- 256Mb of memory
- 100Mb of free space on a local hard drive
To develop an application using the CardScan SDK, you must have the following development tools (or their equivalents):
- A compiler and linker compatible with libraries and DLLs generated by Microsoft Visual C++ version 5.0 or later (for example, Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 or later, or Visual Basic 5.0 or later)
- CardScan 8.0 or later. The CardScan SDK uses libraries and data files that are included with CardScan. You must install CardScan 8.0 or later to run the SDK demo.
To scan cards using the CardScan SDK, you need a CardScan business card scanner. The SDK works with all scanners supported by CardScan.
