CardScan Executive, Corex's flagship product, transforms ordinary, static business cards into usable electronic information. One exciting new feature of CardScan Ivy is the development of a self-updating address book, which makes the task of updating one's contact information even easier than before. The free AccuCard service included in CardScan Ivy keeps track of all valuable contact information and sends updates directly to the CardScan user's desktop address book. Once activated, the AccuCard service brings the user's address book to life, and sends quarterly emails to contacts requesting they update their information or confirm that it is correct. As people respond, the address book becomes interactive, and prompts the CardScan user to either accept or reject the updates. This feature eliminates the hassle of chasing down ex-colleagues and nomadic friends for new contact information and allows CardScan users to update their address books with a simple click of the mouse.
